Weekly Nets:
Ham radio club meetings "on the air" are called "Nets". OARC holds a weekly net on the 147.015 Mhz VE3OAK VHF repeater at 19:30 hrs local time on Monday nights. Our ARES partners at the Halton Region Emergency Communications Team (HRECT) also hold a weekly net on the 147.345 Mhz VE3PDX repeater, which is also our regional Canwarn severe weather spotting repeater.
Club meetings
In the Club there are the two types of formal meetings:
1) the general Club meetings are held on the Second Sunday EVENING of the month from 7-9 pm @ the Police station (south side of Dundas, West of Trafalgar)
95 Oak Walk Drive, Oakville, ON L6H 0G6. The meeting begins promptly at 7:30pm. Booking the room from 6-10 pm gives some flexibility.
2) The ARES team (Amateur Radio Emergency Service, the field subsection of the club) meet on the Third Sunday from 1 - 4 pm. Booking the room from 12 - 5 pm gives some flexibility.
Also we meet informally every Saturday morning at 7am in Cora's in the mall on the south-east corner of Dorval and the North Service road.
It is right beside Henry's camera shop.

A formal ARES NET followed by an informal session will begin on Monday February 18th, 2008 and will be held on non-meeting Mondays at 7:30 PM on VE3OAK (147.015 + MHz) except when the club breaks for summer.
Many club members meet for an informal breakfast each Saturday morning at 7AM. Currently at Cora's in the mall on the south-east corner of Dorval and the North Service road. It is right beside Henry's camera shop.. We would be pleased to see you there.
Friday morning coffee has moved to Tim Hortons on Wycroft Road(10:30AM)
This is a temporary move so check on the repeater for any changes.
